What a damn shame... Such an unnecessary event. That employee was probably trying to make extra money for his family or something. Plus a woman suffered a miscarriage due to the stampede. What the hell has America come to?

A Weekend in San Diego... Again
[EDIT]Another weekend, another trip to San Diego. Hmm, doesn't seem to get old does it?
So, what was set out as a potluck invitation by Trong, Phirun's room mate, turned out to be a drama-rama in some portions, and another fail to put insult to injury. But hey, I honestly believe it to be a good experience, regardless of the outcome. As if we had learned our lessons, we didn't. We ended up coming back for a second trip. Luckily, no fails commenced that day. Anyways, here are the pictures!
The potluck actually had alot of food, which exceeded my expectations. Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, it was practically pre-Thanksgiving. Since we didn't provide the food, we provided the alcohol.
The host that can boast the most roast: Trong!
A snippet of DGF!
Buffness?
Fail.
Trong's friends came along and feasted with us to the beautiful meal presented above.
Contrary to popular belief, Jäger is not Phirun's best friend.
At a certain point in the potluck, drama emerged as two rival gangs collided. Of course it was under the influence of alcohol, which led to a giant misunderstanding. I sparked it without any intention of creating a scene, but just spouting 'Calm down' made quite an upset. How stupid of him... Everything was cleared as he left the apartment complex, leaving the environment to be drama free for the potluck to continue!
Chilling in the back serenading one another.
The amazing thing about this picture is that Kendra is standing next to Duy, whom she dislikes. Irony at it's best haha
Troy came through!
With Thomas!
Eric (Glover)!
And Andrew!
By the time they came, a majority of the food was gone. Sad... You can see Rob beasting the meal! Good job sharing haha
Of course, as always when I'm down in San Diego, I always put my spare time into Gunbound :]
I made enough room to 'Brawl' with everyone. You can see how into it I am haha
Playing 13 with Trong's friends. Chill group!
On the way back from San Diego around 2:00 A.M., a driver to my left side swerved to my lane and accidentally broke my driver's window. That immediately shocked the passengers who were in the vehicle, making Troy yell, "What the...?! Did he just shoot at us?!" So unnecessary... We pulled over and exchanged information. For someone who looked intimidating, he actually attended UCSD. Looks like you can't always judge a book by it's cover can you?
The next day we were supposed to head over to San Diego early, but due to some unfortunate circumstances, we came late. That somewhat made Rob, Linda, Phirun and Trong impatient. Everything turned out great once we came though haha. Phirun was supposed to show us the San Diego nightlife, but knowing him, it didn't go through. Instead, we went to go eat and relax at the apartments.
Once we got together, we were on our way to...
Phil's BBQ!
For such a long line, the meal alone was well worth the wait!
Beastly meal made for a beast!
After that fattening meal, we all laughed...
At Matt's presentation of Billy Banks. Apparently this is made for us to burn out the fat. Fail...
So we headed back to chill at the apartment, playing 13, mixing Soju with yogurt.
Cheers!
Move over Eminem, here is the real 'aftermath' haha. Funny thing is I didn't drink...
Alcoholic beverages. I'm glad I didn't take any :]
With Glover aka Whoopi Goldberg. Much love nig!
Finishing the day with 'The Handshake'.
And that wraps up our weekend! Thanksgiving is coming this week, and I wouldn't doubt that a mountain of fails will come hailing through. Anyways, thanks for reading this blog, and have a nice day! More adventures to come!

Failure of The Month
So... Saturday. A day of many failures. Although the visit to San Diego was preplanned, the events that occurred late that night came like the Los Angeles fires: sudden. What seemed to be a regular visit lead to touring The Cliffs (Scripps). Don't get me wrong, the view was beautiful, it's just what happened after that nearly ruined the whole day. The pictures, with of course my little explanations will wrap everything into play.
On our way to San Diego, and pretty damn close to the fires.
Inside a nearby Ralph's, they had boxes of Frank Copolla Liquor. That security guard is just cardboard too lol
The makings of a failure: Patron, Barcardi 151, and Maker's Mark.
Glover mixing up the canned meat.
Rob cutting the onions in a Iron Chef fashion haha
Duy setting up the doggies. Vietnamese people and dogs... Can't get enough of it haha
The end result was Sloppy Joe's!
While everyone else was making food, I was playing Gunbound?! Get at me! SN : wtfitzalb3rt
This was his last mix of Galvatron. His 4th to be precise haha
The fail arising within moments lol
The entrance to The Cliffs. No Trespassing eh...?
Regardless of laws, we broke it lol
We all got dirty 'cause Peter kept falling over -_-
Duy noticed a shooting star while I took a picture.
Leading him back to the fence by myself was a horrible mistake lol
On the way back leading him to the fence, of course, as an older brother and intoxicated, he decided to give me the "Big Brother Speech". Once we got to the fence, he persuaded me into leaving him behind to get the others. I wasn't completely swayed by his words, but when I turned away from him, he was gone the next moment. I rushed over the fence looking and crying out for his name, but there was no reply.
Eventually Duy and the others climbed over and decided to help me find Peter. There was a nearby party and Glover thought Peter would be there, so he headed over to where all the clamoring was. I went to a nearby edge where I hear screams directly across from me in the pitch black surroundings. They were cries from Peter. With no hesitation, I jumped into the ravine and climbed up the branches. Rob followed closely in case if anything had happened to me. After all the hustle and bustle, we find Peter nearly breaking down emotionally.
I don't wanna get into it anymore 'cause it was alot to handle. Though I was angry at the moment, I can look back at it and consider it an adventure I will never forget. The endless memories...
And to think they'd learn their lessons from this experience... Nope. Not one bit.
We're actually heading back to San Diego this Friday 'cause Phirun's room mates is throwing a Pot Luck.
So there you have it. More fail on the way.
Another memory to add to this chapter :]
Thanks for reading everyone!

Veteran's Day Break
Veteran's Day... A day not to be forgotten, a day also to take advantage of haha.
So what did I do? Tour around the Los Angeles area. Seems like we've been heading back to LA time and time again with new adventures added to our daily lives. Not as though that's a bad thing of course, I love it. More sights to see, more experiences right?
It was a slow start I have to admit, walking down and back from Sunset Boulevard. Who would've thought there would be so many places down there?!
What but Dim Sum to start off the day?
A portion of the directions. Kendra and her neat writing -_-
The first structure we see: The National Lampoon's World Headquarters!
For Duy, who wasn't there with us :]
No more Yogurt places, please!
A liquor store called Pink Dot had this cool looking Buggy, so we took a picture!
Live! On Sunset was pretty much a more updated version of Urban Outfitters; way more expensive!
Hustler... Words alone can't explain how the place it haha.
At times like this, I wish I had a better camera because the scene was really awesome. But hey, beggers can't be choosers, this still looked great.
Similarities? HAHA
Rodeo Drive. I have finally witnessed what I've heard about all this time from many tabloids and songs. Damn... Such a nice area to shop around. But we're poor, so we can only dream from afar haha.
On this picture, we were walking diagonally across to Chanel. Diagonally! And yes, it was legal :]
Here are some more pictures to get a better feel of the area.
Once we finished touring Rodeo Drive, we ate at...
L.A. Food Show! Good stuff!
Ordering some grub!
After eating, we decided to visit Linda since we were within reach of UCLA. Apparently there was also a really popular ice-cream parlor, so it was practically a win-win situation.
Diddy Riese... If you have a huge sweet-tooth, enjoy yourself. This place is bomb!
Man... What a day that was... Lots of walking... But overall, it was fun. Can't wait until Thanksgiving Weekend; Black Friday, more trips to come! Thanks for reading everyone, hope you guys had a nice Veteran's Day Weekend!
